So I know there are options available for flying space available, but is there any possibility of sailing Space Available?

For instance if you wanted to go to say... Australia, and you know a ship is heading there, can you hitch a ride?

Ever hear about how many ships end up NOT going where they were planned to go? Want to risk being on "Gonzo" station for 100+ days? Doubt anyone would consider a ridealong anyway. Space is always at a premium.
