I think the story is trying to say this is negative.
Basically, its using a second hand account, to try to make the US look bad.
I still think its funny if its true.

My sense is that he was happy about it. Those guys don't strike me as particularly leftist partisans. They're equal opportunity offenders.

Especially not after watching Team America where they took every chance they could to stick it too the left side looneys in this country.
There is a book called "South Park Conservatives." Not worth buying but it has a couple interesting chapters.
