S-3's getting phased out?

I heard a rumor that S-3's are getting phased out. Anybody know anything about this?

Between now and 2008 is when they are supposed to be pulled out from what the rumor mill says. I also hear that an electronic variant of the hornet is to replace the Prowler that is called the “Growler.” Anybody know anything about this? Now there is an exotic name. When it is time for #2, I may just say that I’ve got to go and take a “growler.”
