I'm finishing up API on the 28th of april and heading out to corpus so I need someone to take over my portion of the rent. I pay $450+water for the larger master bedroom with a large bathroom. There are a total of two bedrooms and each room had its own bathroom.
The apartment complex is called Kings mill. It takes me about 25-30 mins to get to NASP in heavy traffic. There are two malls near by...Cordova mall and University mall. My decision to live here was based mainly on the fact that everything is located near by. If you end up at whiting field, then the drive is about 35 mins from here. I think this is the best location to be in when considering everything else that is available. It would be nice living near base but there is nothing out there and unless you are an NFO, you will be driving at least an hour to get to whiting once you start primary.
