If you find a roomate, and want a very nice place to live. contact mary mccoy, palm bay reality. her office is in the little strip mall place at the corner of South Padre Island Drive and Whitecap (you'll know it as soon as you drive out on the island). I am moving out of my place on May 2nd and it will be available May 5th. $1350 a month rent, 3 bedroom (one huge master and two smaller) 2.5 bath 2 story condo with a garage. The duplex complex only has 6 buildings (12 duplexes), its own pool and is literally 20 yards from the water. The master bedroom is huge with a jacuzzi tub, stand-up shower, and double vanity. My roomate and I worked it out where I had the master bedroom and he had the other two bedrooms. Completely worth it.
As a note to anyone else who might be coming this way, I should be heading out of the area in late Sept, early Oct. We have a really nice 3 bed, 2 bath house on this island. Private owner who is quick to fix any problems and leaves us completely alone otherwise. Especially great for anyone with pets (any kind, especially if you own big "evil" bully breeds like we do). Comes with a fenced back yard and 2 car garage. $1200 a month is rent right now, don't know if that will change but I doubt it will. I would love to help the guy out plus hook another AW up with a sweet house. PM me in the future with any interest.
