Room for rent on Padre Island

Hey guys. Heading out for Primary this weekend and I got a place secured on padre island. It's a two bedroom apartment at the beach club apts, and I'm looking to rent the other room. It's gonna be 500 a month plus utilities. I've been told it's about 6 minutes to base, and a block to the beach. Room with a view, reserved parking, huge fitness center, pool/spa/sauna. Apparently the island is the place to be while in Corpus. PM if interested. I'm moving in on probably the 10th of Nov.

P.S. I already have a bit of furniture too. Nice couch, big table, coffee table and big screen LCD television...so partially furnished :)

I guess its too late now but you really should have looked at some of the privately owned condos around here. I pay what you are going to be paying for a 3br condo with a two car garage and I have only one roommate. Also, its more like 10-15 mins to base from the beach club...some days being exceptionally longer if the gate guards just don't feel like being efficient.
