Hello,
For context, I am a senior in NROTC (will be taking a fifth year - fairly common at my unit), so I will service select next fall, with the intent of selecting SNA. I am from a large unit, and have held leadership in the batallion. Made A's and one B in NVSC classes. 3.58 GPA in a tier two major. I did initally fail Calc 1 so hopefully that will keep me out of the nuke draft haha.
I just re-took the ASTB for the second time. I scored 8, 6, 7 - an improvement by one ppoint from my first score of 7,5,6. I know 8 is a really good score, but I am concerned about the 6 for the PFAR score. When I practiced with the jostick I didn't orient it properly - causing me to get thrown off by that portion of the test. I know that if I take the test again, I'm stuck with that score. What are my chances of SNA with my current score, and would it be worth the risk to re-take it?
