Renting and flying clubs in San Diego

I just got to San Diego a little over a month ago. I'm wanting to do some civilian flying, just taking family and friends up, or a little weekend trip every once in awhile. Does anyone have any suggestions for renting in the area? Any flying clubs that someone would recommend? Any info would be great.

I think he wanted personal recommendations from people who have gone through those schools, possibly to avoid being flown around by a guy Kim Philby would have been proud of...

I think what she meant to say was; In addition to NASNI Flying Club, you might want to look at Gillespie Field (SEE) and Montgomery Field (MYF) as well. Both have two or three reputable flying clubs with a variety of aircraft on the line. Find the airport closest to your house and go wander around to see which club best fits your needs.

It only takes 8 seconds to be cordial...

Women fundamentally all hate each other - I love it. ;) Anyhow, there are some other clubs and FBOs available, but I think you'll find the prices at the NASNI Flying Club hard to beat.

I flew at NINFC, it's pretty cool. The prices there are definatly hard to beat. I don't think that any of the planes were over $100/hour to rent and the cheepest was like $65/ hour. The only thing that I can think of is that the planes are older, but are well maintained.
