Have just finished reading this book by Newt Gingrich & William Forstchen about the events at Pearl Harbor assuming the Japanese had stayed in the area & continued to bombard Oahu (but not invade). Of course, it has all the admirals on both sides, but it also has Wade McCluskey, Cdr Genda & other mid-ranking officers who played key roles in this & later conflicts. It reads credibly and is well-researched [military] techno-wise. I recommend it highly as a very good Navy & naval air read for this Summer. FWIW.
