Questions about Career Progression Timeline for Navy Aviator

1. Is there any benefit to report to Pensacola without taking a break after commissioning ceremony? Could it quicken your flight school progression?
2. Does each next career milestone happen in same particular month of each year? Something like college's academic calendar is started in June and ended in May of next year. Do pilots finish job in May and start next job in June in the same year?
3. Can SNAs select training station after Pensacola?
4. Does every training station have same training timeline, comparison to the same pipeline (for example, strike syllabus)? Do some sites finish training faster? If some graduate early, do they immediately report or have to wait to complete two-year time before reporting to FRS?
5. Is other duty for pilot beside training during one-year time in FRS?
6. What is procedure for pilot to select billet/job?
7. What billets/jobs are pilots required to do during sea tour, beside piloting aircraft?
8. What criterias are used to evaluate pilot's FITREP? Performance only? How to get to competitve fitrep for test pilot school?
9. If pilots have been assigned to station abroad, do they get any break to come home? maybe Christmas or have to take a leave?
10. Is the timing to start Test pilot school happen after just finishing sea tour? Or have to do other billet in between? If so, which billet billet is good choice for career?
11. What is average time for test pilot assignment after graduation? minimum 3 year?
12. Do test pilots directly go to DH tour after test pilot tour? No need to do disassoc. tour?
13. What is good billets or career path for promotion to O-6?
14. Do officers need to serve some minimum period of time after each promotion? for example, if you promote for specific rank, you have to stay in Navy for some years minimum.
15. Why did many people mention that if pilot want to leave, it has to be at 10-year point of service? Why not after 11 or 12 year?
16. If pilots want to leave after 10 years of service, it will be during the time of disassoc. tour. Is the pilots required to finish disassoc. tour first then leave at 11th year or he/she can leave in the middle of disassoc. tour?
