Okay so i did something dumb and left my pencil in the cockpit this morning. Since this is FOD the gouge is I owe my onwing a beer. Now heres my question, do i give it to him when I solo or am i expected to show up with it before my next flight. Also is that a beer or six pack? I'm sure this sounds really dumb I'd just hate to break navy tradition and piss off my onwing.

Personally, I would make it a 12-pack ASAP. I would only go with the sixer if beer fines were out of control.

When I was in -28 I think the standing policy was all beer fines needed to be labeled and in the IP fridge by friday of the week the fine occured

You're supposed to buy a case, give one of the beers to your on-wing and send the rest to HAL Pilot.......

And hurry up! Use Fedex! I'm thirsty! Can't you see the light is on? :D

OK..i just fninished primary in 28 and a beer fine differs from flight to flight. I was in flight 5 and 1 beer fine meant one bottle of pre approved beer ( found in the clipboard where ur calender cards are) other flights were different where 1 fine was a six pack. asking ur onwing wuuld be best though, as it is not a calender card of jacket review fine)..i would not be suprised if they saud a six pack at least...assuming u found the pencil after u landed..if not, could be more.

I heard it was a keg of beer chilled by the pool by Friday at 1600...

Don't do it again and learn from it...is all you really need to do.
