Beautiful boat. Anybody ever toured one?

A newly restored U.S. Navy gunboat was towed through the streets of New Orleans to its final resting place on a nearby lake. The boat, a veteran of action in the Mediterranean during World War II, was salvaged from a boatyard in Texas before being painstaking restored by a crew of volunteers.

I toured that one. If you press your face against the glass of the warehouse they worked out of like a child long enough, the fine folks doing the restoration will invite you in and talk to you as long as you want.

They were talking of taking her on a cruise up the east coast as a mobile history lesson.
