I was wondering if you all could give me the low down on what the pro's and con's are for each of the primary schools? I realize its a matter of preference, but I'm sure theres some good info out there..

All I have to say is that Corpus is awesome. Alot of things to do...outdoors and anything water-related (i.e. windsurfing, fishing, beaches, etc). Most importantly, people actually drive faster than 40mph down here compared to crapshoot Pensacola. The houses on the Island are great...most are waterfront with a deck and a boat sling. Corpus is the definitely the way to go...

skilax, I know why you're asking... and while the search function will answer the obvious question the other answer is, it doesn't matter for you. Sure, sometime in Feb. (at least that's when '04 has assignment night), you'll pick a primary location as well as your start date at API. Of those two choices the only one that will have any effect on your life is the start date, and more than likely the only effect of the start date is when you get into line for the big A-pool wait. Nothing will assure you of a primary location while still at the Academy. It can and will change all the way up to the end of API. I picked Whiting (because I was going to be married) with a start date of Oct. 10.... a combination of Ivan and the "great" LT in API student control that I'm sure you've read about, I ended up starting API in late February and going straight to Corpus.
