Prior enlisted looking for flight slot

I'm curious to know if I would have trouble with my age (27 at time of graduation) to get a flight slot. I have 4 years prior service enlisted as an airframe mechanic with VP-1. I graduated top of my class in "A" school. I was an E-5 upon separation in '04. I was offered P-3 flight engineer school before separation. I also have a private pilot's license with about 100 hours with intent to aquire my instument rating in the near future. I will have a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Technologies with an A&P license in May '08. My current GPA is 3.556. Unfortunatly I went to Captain's mast twice for underage drinking. How will that affect me? I think that other than those things I should have a good application. What other steps can I take to improve my standings? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The age is not a problem.. You are OK there.

However, going to mast TWICE for the same thing may not be that easy to get around. Others can speak to that more than I.

I was 27 when I graduated college and then went to flight school, so I know age is not an issue. I was prior enlisted also but did not have any NJPs. I don't think your NJPs will be a problem per se in actually getting a pilot slot as much as actually getting comissioned, I think that once you are in you are eligible (barring physical limitations and your scores on the ASTB etc) you can do whatever. What program are you looking at in order to gain a comission (OCS, etc)? I think your best option would be to call an officer recruiter and just ask some questions, hope that helps.
