Plantar Fasciitis and BDCP

I am in the Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program since August 2010. During the summer of 2011 I developed plantar fasciitis, but it managed to go away due to stretching, NSAIDs, reduced walking/running, night splint, and new shoes.
It had reappeared this summer during a Fit for Duty evaluation, doctor considered it a disqualifying condition (as he should) and I had to go see a podiatrist to continue the eval. At the time I was using the same tactics as before , plus steroid injection to the heel, air cast, and custom orthodics. The AF podiatrist I saw stated he would only recommend disqualifying me if the symptoms did not disappear within 6 months of treatment started, so I eventually was determined fit for duty.

The symptoms have now reappeared at the highest level they were once at, and now doing oral steroids instead of injections, and will be starting physical therapy after I get a referral from my doctor at the MTF. It has been almost 6 months since treatment had started.

At this point would my condition render me disqualified from being in the Navy? And if so what would be the process, MEB or just disenrollment from my program? Any thoughts would be great.

I did see http://www.airwarriors.com/communit...spurs-plantar-etc-alternative-treament.39820/ and http://www.airwarriors.com/community/index.php?threads/foot-issue.27394/page-2 on other treatment methods. Also, my recruiter, LT, and commanding officer are all aware of the situation.
