How does the PFT differ from the PRT? What are the "minimums" for aviation? Any information on the subject will help!

PFT consists of 3 mile run, 18 min = 100 points ( they deduct a point for every ten seconds over 18 minutes)
Pullups - each pullup is worth 5 points, 20 pullups max = 100 points
Crunches - each worth a point 100 points max

I believe the minimum is 225 or 250. I wouldn't be satisfied or confident with that though to be competative. Always shoot for 300!

By the way. What does the PRT consist of? I don't plan on going Navy, just curious.

nope, as long as you can make the 1.5 miles and do at least 1 push-up and sit-up they let you in [^]

Look here: but I know they changed it recently and broke it into 5 year age periods, but I assume you just want a general idea
