If you're still writing it, I'd be happy to try to help. I assume this is for USNA? I'm applying this summer as well.
 
Nothing wrong with letting others give their 2 cents. I've had help with every important essay I've written (college, USN et al). It's not cheating, it's called life. I recommend moms, if you have one.
