Hey has anybody ever played the game Over G Fighters on the XBox 360. It's been out for a while now but I just picked it up. I think it's pretty bad a$$.
 
Yep...spent countless hours perfecting the carrier landing. That's about all I like doing while playing it though...shooting missiles get boring after a while.

That's the bonus level . . . dodge flying objects being thrown at you by the Maintenance Master Chief after you over-G the fighter. Again.
 
There's G-Limits in the Phrog. Don't remember what they are. I always wondered how I'd know to write up an over-g, since we don't have a g meter...
 
That's a bizarre name for a fighter game.

It's sort of like having your car racing game called "Skid into the wall" or your 1st person shooter be called "out of ammo and without cover or concealment."

Its a bizarre game for bizarre people. I wont lie, I own it. I even fire it up ever great once and a while. The graphics are amazingly clean and fluid in their flow. But playing it online will make you want to stab the person on the other end of the world. Apparently the only way to shoot down another plane is to fly a Raptor with 16 AIM120's and launch all of them as soon as you have "weapons lock" on the other guy. Makes for a very lame 18 seconds of multiplayer where the winner of the round is the guy that just happened to dodge the first of sixteen missiles.
 
There was a pilot in my 1/c middie cruise sqdn that told me he had played said game online a few times and kept losing to 13 yr olds in the same a/c he flies for his real dayjob (Rhino). This should probably shed some light on the realism of this game....
 
Assuming you haven't Lawman, try Ace Combat six for graphics. Way less realism, but ridiculous visuals. I mean its on a 360, not like realism is the source of the entertainment anyways =).

Yeah Ive played the demo. Honestly I liked the Ace Combat that was two games ago. I tried playing the last one and wasnt all that impressed. Very Arcadish and cheesy storylines but they are visually stunning.
