At what point do OC’s get to negotiate orders? Is it really negotiating? What’s it like for Cryptology? Are OC’s given any time to discuss with spouses or significant others or do they need to make decisions quick? I know a lot of people on this site are going into the NFO/pilot training pipeline for quit a while and probably will not get ultimate duty stations until much further along in training. Crypto training is only 11 weeks and then on to the ultimate duty station.

My husband had a day to talk to me about what choices he had, he was SWO though. He also said that one crypto in his class knew where he was going to be stationed after school by the end of OCS.
