Order of choice

Ok, my package arrived in Millington today... yay!

I have been told two different stories as far as how the selection process goes, and I'm hoping the folks on the forum who have been through this already can clear up my questions.

My first choice is Cryptology; second choice is Supply.

1.) Does my app go just to the crypology board, wait for selection, then on to Supply board after they are through?

or

2.) Does my app go in front of whichever board meets first?

I was just curious, since I heard that the supply board was meeting this week on the 26th, I was curious as to whether I'd hear from them first or not.

I have heard of people getting a decision from their second or third choice before their first and then having to wait until they got word back on the first choice before being able to decide what to do. So yes, I think that your package goes to all boards at the same time and they look at it whenever they get to it. In fact, I don't think the boards know what other choices you put or what order they were in for that matter. Does all of that make sense?

So since my app got there today, and the board meets Thursday (supposidly)... from the collective experiences of the forum here, is it likely that my app will be reviewd by this board, or wait until the next?

I got alerted that I was picked up for SWO 2 days after I sent in my application. I immediatly got hte ball rolling on getting into BDCP. 4 weeks later I did my physical, PRT. I was then told I was picked up for NFO. I sent in my final docs, and got 2 different OCS dates, one for SWO, one for NFO. I selected NFO.
