WTF guys? Why does the STA website have board results posted already? It's not september yet. I thought the board meets in sept, right? Oh yeah, just a reminder for next time.. make sure your chain of command certifies your documents so you don't have to resubmit them. That's what I had to do. Also, how many times do most applicants who eventually get selected have to apply before that happens? Just wondering. Thanks.

Are you sure? Last year, it seemed like they did about two months before the board actually met. It said something like "you have been conditionally selected to attend NSI at (some date). This date is just for preparation only, the actual date will arrive in official Navy correspondence." Anyway, it turned out that the whole thing was just a glitch on the website and we had to wait after our hopes had been let down.

Are you sure the results are out? The year my husband got selected the last year's results were up until ab 2 weeks before his came out.

As far as submitting an application before getting picked up, most people we know submitted 3 applications before being selected.
