This popped on my feed this morning. Didn’t see anything here about it. Unique program, go fly for NOAA. It does look to have some robust eligibility requirements but might be a good fit for someone here.

I saw that blurb too - Fester 2.0 really wants to be a NOAA officer one day and she's fascinated by the Hurricane Hunters - but I was kind of surprised they're doing it. My impression was that they get all the new pilots they need from ISTs, and if they need more they will occasionally offer flight training to already commissioned NOAA guys.
