Hey all, I'm headed to OCS next weekend (SNFO) and was wondering if anyone could shed light on the physical for flight officers.
I've done some research online and have gone through the vision standards for applicant student naval flight officers here: http://www.med.navy.mil/sites/nmotc.../1_Waiver_Guide_Physical_Standards_130530.pdf
From what I read, I'm within the requirements, but I just wanted to ask on here for some added peace of mind. Right now my vision prescription is:
OD -- Sphere: -1.25 Cylinder: -2.00
OS -- Sphere: +0.50 Cylinder: -2.50
I've been hit or miss on military depth perception tests in the past, but from what I understand , it is not required for NFO. Assuming everything else is good physically, will I be good to go for vision on the flight physical?
Thanks in advance.
