I tried searching for this but couldnt find any word but I was wondering for Corpus people whether anyone has heard if TW4 has approved the det to las cruses in JAN, and if so which squadrons and blocks are they going to do out in NM.

If there was a Las Cruses det next month, you most likely would have heard about it long before now from your squadron... I think the last time they did it was in '04.

There is one going in January; don't know when it starts but it'll go for a month. I didn't pay attention to the time details because it no longer applies to me, but I think the way it's supposed to work is once you're done with your FAMs here (so you see and understand course rules), you'll go out there and get as much done as is possible in Las Cruces; at least all the way through PAs, and possibly all the way through Forms, but I'm not sure. If you do go, you'll be doing two flights per day.
