Curious as to the fundamental differences in capabilities and missions of Navy Supply Officers, Army Logistics Officers, and Marine Corps Combat Logistics Officers.
It seems like the Marine Corps Combat Logistics groups are literally down-range operators that also provide support - which is a LOT different from a Navy Supply Officer, of course.
In the Army, it looks like the Quartermaster Corps and Logistics Corps are Basic Branches (like a Navy Line officer?) vs. Army Special Branches (medical, legal, chaplains).
However, can someone explain some of the key differences here?
