Nationwide Airlines "loses" Engine #2 drng T/O

Didn't I hear P-3 bubbas say that the 737 gets better climb performance single engine than the P-3 with 4 (maybe it was 3)?

Another bit of VP engine failure trivia....I remember my dad (fmr P-2V driver) telling me that when they would lose a recip (not uncommon), SOP had them light both of the aux turbojets. He said it made for some interesting notifications to controllers, since their cruise speed would actually increase following the engine failure (and ETA would decrease).....of course this didn't really pertain to a T/O failure since they would have everything "turning and burning" already in that case.
