They still have a ways to go.
I was watching them do concrete stability test's yesterday, on a patch of concrete, so things are coming along.
The rumor mill says 2008/9.

Actually, we took practice traps there all the time for ground crew training. I usually don't have very many complementary things to say about Marine aviation :D , but those guys were SH in Iwakuni. Got us clear of the gear almost as fast as aboard ship and on our way to enjoy Mongolian BBQ night on Wednesday night at the O club! :D
