Has anyone selected Air recently after going in on a ground contract? If so, what determines your selection, age, class standing etc??

In order to change to an air contract you must first qualify the same as if you were initially applying for one. This means passing the ASTB and getting a flight physical. After that, assuming your company has some open slots, anyone who wants to change has to compete for the slots. It's pretty much based on lineal standing but of course your CO can do anything he wants to MOS selection.
