Hey guys, real easy questions.
What are the minimums for the application for the PRT, and what are the "makes you look damn good" numbers? I just realized I am a bit behind where I would like to be with my running, and I figure I am going to need some good scores to help my app(no real work experience, 2.7 gpa)
Thanks yall

Tell me one thing-what is considered "optimal" for your application?

I am shooting for about a 10:30 1.5 about 80 pushups and 100 curlups. I have to make up ground for my Sh#t of a pilot score. I just wish I would have had the aviation part of the marine study guide when I took the test. I would have to say if you score a 7 or 8 on the pilot part, your prt probably won't have to be as good. I went and saw one of my old coaches from high school yesterday, he is a great cross country track coach, and he put me on a running program to get my times down. He told me to run a mile warm up at a pace of 10:00 to 12:00 minutes, after that walk a lap very briskly, then run a 3 x 800 which is .5 of a mile in 3:20. He said do that every other day and the days in between run 2 miles at a pretty good pace. He said when you start nailing 3:20 add another 3 x 800, when you are able to run two 3 x 800's in 3:20 start trying to hit 3:10 and so on.

Yo Kent,
Is the pilot part that you did not so great on, is that the part of the test where they ask you to identify the different parts of the plane, ask you what a RIO is, ask you port/starboard and other nautical questions, etc etc? I want to make sure what I am studying cause he said that and the part that judges spatial perception(whats the abbreviation for that?) are super important. I told him I had scored perfectly on a couple of spatial practice tests and he said that coudl really help make up for my 2.7 gpa...we will see I guess :)

I think the part that hurt me was the nautical info. I know plenty about airplanes, that wasn't a problem. I might have not done very well on the spatial part either, because time is such a factor, and I am a slow test taker. The spatial part is really different from the ARCO book, so be ready, although the ARCO does help some. Another thing that hurt me I think was some of the Navy history questions.
