For those of you who have been or are currently at moody for primary....what is the deal with checking in? I graduate API on this friday and all I know is to check into the BOQ by saturday midnight, I have no idea about anywhere to report, uniforms to bring or what to expect on that monday, if anybody out there has some pearls of wisdom for me, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Just show up Monday to the 479 OSS bldg. Ms Patty Hood will stamp your orders for when you need to show up (whatever day you get to Valdosta, the AF is pretty laid back about that). Also there's no Q here. Hope you are looking for an apartment. On a last thought, Ms Hood might be gone, look for LCMD Dry. Need any other help drop me a PM, I'll be here for a long time and might be able to give you some advice.

Sorry for all the questions, but is that monday in khakis or flightsuits and do you have any word on how the leave for christmas is gonna work. I guess i have loads and loads of questions for you so Ill try and ask them a little at a time, but thank you for the response and if you have any more advice id love to hear it. Thanks again

Khakis. You'll almost def still be in the pool for Christmas, so just ask them how that will work but more than likely you'll be given a block of leave for that. Patty is super cool, she'll help you out.
Get your -1 and your 11-2-T6 from the book issue in the academic building (right next to the OSS) to bring home with you over xmas so you can start studying... lotta stuff to learn, as with anything in flight school, the more you get ahead, the better off you'll be when you actually get started...

POC will be Maj Long since Patty will be on leave. Def get your vol I and II before Christmas like Shoo said and start chairflying. See you around.
