Hey everyone.
I recently learned that I will be going to USMC OCS (PLC) this summer on an air contract. My optometrist has consistently had me at 20/20 except for a 20/40+ distance in one eye (correctable to 20/20). However, when I went out to MEPS, their machine measured me at a 20/50 in that eye. Does this mean I will automatically need the waiver (I understand the cutoff is 20/40 according the waiver guide)? I've already spoken to my OSO about this, but was just curious if anyone had any insight into how this would be handled since I've already been selected for the air contract.
