Hi everybody,
I had my MEPS physical yesterday and was wondering what everyone though of the visual acuity test there, if it seemed a little unusual. For my acuity test I had to look into a machine to read letters, and the lady didn't seem like she really new how to work the thing. For one, when she gave me the depth perception test she didn't know that I could wear glasses to do it (without my specs none of the circles stood out but I got them all right with them on). Luckily I passed with 20/40 and no misses on color blind, depth perception or falant. Also, what are the eye tests like for the actual flight physicals, are the conditions a little better and do they cut you a break? Since I'm right on the 20/40 borderline would I be booted for missing one letter on the 20/40 line (say my eyes were just off a little that day?) Also, is the ACES program still active where one can get their flight physical out of the way before starting OCS? Thanks to everyone for any info or advice.
