Medical disqualification during application process.

So, I have just recently been put in a tough spot. Last week, the Navy Medical Board came down and told me that I was medically DQed due to back and foot problems.
A list:
Flat feet (waived in 2001 and 2008) Upped on 2008 NAMI flight physical despite this)
Back injury that occurred while enlisted in the USMC (waived in 2008) Upped on 2008 NAMI flight physical despite this.
Tendinitis Occurred at USMC OCS in Jan 2008. Trail and 1/2 marathon runner since "injury" and Outstanding-Med PRT.

Is there anyway to appeal this decision, especially after the Navy had previously waived most of these?

Thanks for the input.

What do you mean by 'upped on NAMI....'? Passed the flight physical?

What was the purpose of your medical board?

It feels like I've seen or heard about a lot of these stories about being medically disqualified for issues that have been signed off on in the past. Does the reviewing medical staff take into account the manning needs of the community to which the person is applying?

I'm sorry. "Upped" meaning that my flight physical was approved. The purpose of the "board", that may not be the right term, was to see if I was fit enough to continue with the application process. It just seemed weird to me that they would deny these waivers that had already been previously waived. Is there any way to appeal these decisions?
Also, MEPS recommended waivers on all accounts. Thanks again.

Seems strange to me too that NAMI said 'OK' in 2008...then, two years later, (MEPS???) says nope. If it wasn't MEPS saying no, then who was it?

MEPS OK'ed me and recommended that those things be waived. That recommendation is then sent off to Navy Medical to approve those waivers(which weren't approved).
