What is the lifestyle of a Marine Aviator like after making a squadron (I read the post by Frumby where the first few years was for flight training, and the inevitable waiting periods.) I am also curious how much time a Marine pilot spends in the lower 48 over a career.

Depends on the times. Who knows with this new war. I was in Cherry Point nearly 4 years and was deployed almost 3. Tough if you have kids. Frumby
