CMP always has good info.

This is an add-on for handloaders, but along with headspace, if you reload for the M-1 the cartridge should be full length sized, not just neck sized, because of the greater allowances in headspacing that was designed for the chamber. In my opinion, fire-formed brass should only be used in bolt action rifles.
