On this Memorial Day 2025, honoring LT Egger, the father of my step-sister. My father married his widow in 1980. His daughter was brought into my family and I always tried to help her understand her later father's legacy even as my own father took on the responsibility of adopting and raising his daughter. She has taken a keen interest in her late father after our dad past away a few years ago.
