I did a search in the forum and on google and couldn't really find anything about the Navy's LRP. All I found was on Navy.com that said it would pay back upto $65,000. Only qualifications it listed were:
1. Cannont be in default
2. Must be a first-time enlistee.

Was wondering if anyone has anymore info on this program or is involved with it now? I will be a first-time enlistee and I'm pretty sure I won't default on my loan(hopefully at least:) ) Any info or links would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Your recruiter is probably the best person to talk to on this - he/she will have the most up to date info. on the program.

Also, I suggest visiting the discussion boards at www.military.com - there are enlisted Navy recruiters who also post on that board.

Thanks for the reply. I will definitely try and contact my recruiter sometime. Will also continue researching. Will post any info I find in here, I'm sure there are others who want this information as well.
