Have you guys ever driven in San Diego or CA in general. I swear to god the average speed on the road is 80. And people will still pass you at that speed. Man I love my state. And what really cool the speed limit is 70, but cops still wont pull you over, well unless you are being wreckless.

Me thinks you've never been out to Hawaii. The drivers here are just marvelous...and by marvelous, I mean terrible. Everybody is on the road but nobody can remember how to drive or what the rules are.

Hawaii drivers are retarded. They're backwards too. They go fast in the right lane and slow in the left lane. I hate it. They need to NOT BE DRIVING.

Fly Navy: Try doing a brake tap on an R6...not too high on my list of things to do with a lifted truck RIGHT behind me keeping pace at 75.

Jeep + Solid Bumper = Bring it on.

(Ok, I don't want anyone to actually hit my car. I have no sympathy for tailgaters though... that woman didn't deserve to die by any means, but her car deserved to be wrecked. Too bad she lost her life...)

Yeah, what are the specifics on this?
I'm looking for an article...I lived in Auburn at the time, so I don't quite recall the exact specifics.

I do remember it was some whacky ass s***, though. This took place in Peachtree City, to give you Atlanta locals an idea of the...zealousness of the local constabulary.

Basically, this guy cut this girl off (a common occurance...everywhere, really...nothing to get pissy about). She took offense, agressive driving went on, other drivers started calling 911, guy brakechecks girl, girl overcorrects, wrecks and the guy drives off.

The really crazy part is the passenger was also charged (I think he got off though) with manslaughter.

I wonder if it would have been different if the guy stopped to help when she crashed.

As a life-long native, I'll agree that for its faults, it is a nice place to speed.

Massachusetts Turnpike. If you aren't doing 80, you're doing something wrong.

That goes for all of the Northeast. NYS Thruway is the same. Speed limit 65, everyone does 75. And the Jersey turnpike is positively DEADLY. Only time I've been boxed in going 80 . . .

How do people move over on a 2 lane highway? You mean 4 lane?

ahahhahahaha... yeah when the roads are clear.

6-9 morning traffic
11-12 lunch traffic, bad near work centers, not necessarilly on the freeway.

and finally

2-7 evening traffic.

thank god i lived in poway, right before the nasty Escon bottle neck, but now its worse with the construction going on up there.

and dont get me started on the ricers......

i question the mentality of a friend who is ricing a car out right now, a nice RX-7, supposedly a color of which only 200 were made and my other friends placement of a coffee can sized muffler on his.....
i can only wonder.

and after going around NYC, the only car i would want to own here is a demolition derby car, or a bulldozer.

For all you SOCAL aware folks: I was driving down the 8 yesterday (minding my own business, as you might imagine) and one of the aforementioned ricers had managed to get his car up onto the big concrete barrier that divides the freeway and it was just sitting there kind of high centered on this 3 foot high barrier. I was like, how the fvck hid he manage to do that? I also saw a dude who managed to flip his car on Fietsa Island of all places. How do you flip your car while driving in a beach environment with a 20 MPH speed limit? Kids these days!

he hadnt installed his "out of his price range, ridiculous looking, waste of material/space, triple deck wing" yet as so he could pretend to have force to keep him on the road.

also note the coffee can muffler.

A kid here, Hawaii, managed to send his Integra off the freeway overpass, through a gas station sign (you know how high up those are) and onto the ground in three pieces. Yet again, I think Hawaii wins for best drivers ever. Also, what kind of parts is this guy putting on his FD?
