Got gifted a Remington model 11 the other day by my father that once belonged to my grandfather. Serial number and barrel marking lead me to believe that it was produced in December 1922. It still has the original blue on it, but it is far from perfect condition.
My grandpa was quite the sportsman. He never owned a safe queen in his life and that shotgun was a tool for him, so I'm going to take it trap shooting as soon as I can. My grandpa shot 100 clays in a row with that gun more than once, so I can't blame the equipment if I shoot bad.
