Is the process any different for those who have hyperopia (far sightedness)?

Alright, so it looks here like I could get a waiver with my vision without needing PRK. This is of course, assuming my vision is not deteriorating. I'll just have to wait and see.

It's also worth noting that I can most likely pass a vision test at 20/20, even without my glasses. Far sightedness is weird like that.
 
Alright, thanks a ton, I just hope my vision doesn't deteriorate (I am just starting college). Like I mentioned, I can pass a vision test at 20/20 uncorrected, will refractive error matter then?

Refractive Limits: If uncorrected distant visual acuity is less than 20/20 either eye, a manifest refraction must be recorded for the correction required to attain 20/20. If the candidate’s distant visual acuity is 20/20, a manifest refraction is not required. Total myopia may not be greater than -1.50 diopters in any meridian, total hyperopia no greater than +3.00 diopters in any meridian, or astigmatism no greater than -1.00 diopters. The astigmatic correction shall be reported in minus cylinder format.

This makes it sound like if I can pass a vision test, it doesn't matter. Is that true?
