I am undesignated and I joined to become an aviator (does not have to be jets). I just got to the wasp in norfolk. I did not do as well as I could in high school. I am wondering if i screwed up not researching it more before enlisting? I know I can work my ass off to get a good sta-21 app. together. is being 20 yrs old to late? where should I start?

No, it's definitely not too late. Like you said, kick ass and start to build up your package. You'll need about a year to really make the package standout (LORs, evals, etc). In the meantime, you can take the SAT/ACT (or whatever they call it now) if you're not happy w/ your score or haven't taken it.

I had an undesignated airman check-in with me about two years ago with his mind set on going officer and aviation. Right now he's checking into NAPS and in a year, I have no doubt he'll be kicking ass as part of the class of '10.

Just keep your goal in mind.

Thats good, thanks for just telling me that, that just made a huge differance. I plan on getting all of the quals I can and making the package look outstanding. And I plan on giving it to them until they accept it. I will just be patient and work hard in the meantime. I just need someone to help guide me in the right way
