Why are IFR sectionals made of tissue paper? (the Jeppesen ones)

So when you crash you have something to wipe your arse with ...

That is real cheesy. Snack companies would be proud. Jeppesen makes thier sectionals out of the same tissue paper as thier approach plates. Once you have plates for a couple of states, you have some real bulk on your hands. Some corporate guys carry all plates for all states and that is some serious bulk and weight. I had one of these sets that was given to me and I kid you not weighed about thirty pounds.

What Pat said plus Jeppesen will put you on some auto refil, not notify you about it and stick your credit card for that couple of hundred. Ouch.
