How much time did you study for the ASTB?

You're right, I commissioned thru the Direct Commission Engineer program but I want ti lateral over to aviation field.

Lateral transfers and ISTs are incredibly rare for aviation, due to the lengthy pipeline and ability to complete milestones before promotion consideration.

I would suggest consider national guard or other services that might be more flexible.
