How does leave work during Primary?

Trying to take leave in the middle of Contacts for at least the Labor Day weekend. How should I got about this?
 
If it’s going to cause you to potentially miss days you could fly…..think twice
 
With the hurricane around you are likely to have a few free days. See if they’ll let you stretch your legs.
 
Ask your flight lead first. You might be cutting it close with only a few days notice for Labor Day. Generally it’s a no-go unless for a good reason or over holiday period. Also could be squadron and/or USMC vs Navy dependent.
