How difficult is it to apply for OCS for new grad with prior AFROTC?

Hello! Need guidance and advice. I just got disenrolled just before my college grad and before commissioning date because my det cc was upset that it took long for me to make physical appointments (prioritize my academics) which were beyond my control (hospital was severely unmanned). I'm not a stellar cadet (with several counselling but civil or serious issues and not subpar). An engineering grad with 2.85. I was a contracted cadet in AFROTC. Have a high AFOQT scores 90s and fitness test - 90s. I'm very committed to a military career even if my engineering major is lucrative and in demand outside.

When I was asked to make an appointment it was my finals week so I requested to reschedule which the clinic was okay but when I was with finals and calling to reschedule there was no response with my multiple emails. Later I found the det clinic was unmanned since the last time I called bec of TDY. I could have been more annoying in my follow-up. Still, I was given one contact name, and even if I kept spamming that person, they have long been gone and program was severely unmanned that it severely extended the medical processing. I found that no one in the clinic knows who handles commissioning medicals. Unfortunately, my det cadre could not provide any support other than just keep contacting the base clinic. On my own I decided to call other base clinics to ask if I could get the physicals, and after numerous calls, I got one, and now they are helping me, but Det CC is still proceeding with the disenrollment as he believed I could have it done ita lot earlier (no deadline given).

These “I was former Army/Air Force ROTC what are my chances for Navy” posts have been asked a few times on here.

Your best answer and guidance is to talk to a local officer recruiter, talk about the specific details and go from there.
