Also, does anybody have any suggestions for Whidbey housing otherwise? I'm single, so I hear Anacortes is the way to go. I'm VQ, so I'm moving up there a couple months ahead of the rest of my class, so don't know a whole lot of people. I've been looking unsuccessfully for something cheap enough to rent by myself. Does anybody have recommendations for apartments/houses for rent, or know a group of guys looking for a roommate? Thanks.

Dunno how you P-3 types are, but I would recommend rent in Anacortes or buy in the OH. The former rhymes with "Can't afford us" for good reason. Downside is, you're further from Seattle or Vancouver in Oak Harbor and all the good parties seem to be in Anacortes. So either rent there or buy a place in Oak Harbor, host your own parties down there, and let turnabout be fair play for all who have to drive 30 minutes.
