Hornet AWI Creed

This is my RADAR. There are many like it but this one is mine.

My RADAR is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My RADAR without me, is useless. Without my RADAR, I am useless. I must run my RADAR true. I must meld quicker than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him on timeline before he shoots me. I will

My RADAR and mysef know that what counts in this war is not the missiles we fire, the noise of the engines, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the kills that count. We will kill...

My RADAR is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths. its parts, its accessories, its modes, and its settings. I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes, and even my heart against damage.

I will keep my RADAR CAL'ed and Mated. We will become part of each other. We will.

Before God, I swear this creed: My RADAR and myself are defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviour of our life.

So be it, until victory is America's, and there is no enemy, but Peace!​

Sounds like someone with WAY too much time on their hands redid the Marine Rifleman's creed, inserting RADAR where Rifle was.

After spending 1,800 hours with one of these critters (the radar, I mean), I agree that it's kinda queer funny and not the other kind of funny.
