A friend of mine just e-mailed these picks to me. He was shot yesterday morning right outside of Bellville, Texas. 720 pounds and one shot to the shoulder took him down!!

LOL yea that one get's one shot behind the ear with my 6.8 and then I'm looking for a tree to climb.....

I don't know this guy but I know it's a South Texas hog.......mean and nasty looking

Nice pig.

Here's what my father-in-law pulled out of Crescent Lake last year. For those of you familiar with the Jax Op-area, just follow the St. Johns south past Palatka, head 180 at the powerplant (avoid the funky restricted area), its just NOrth of Lake George, easily findable on a VFR sectional.

Funny thing is, I went with him the week before hunting these things; only managed to pull in a 7.5 foot baby myself. This thing was 13.5', over 800lb.
