Hey, I have always wanted to pilot helicopters, I have a condition known as monofixation vision ( http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1199953-overview ) and I have looked everywhere and can't really find out if I am disqualified for it in any branch. I would prefer being a Navy or Marine pilot but I have no idea if I would need a waiver or not.

Hey, this question belongs in the 'Doc's Corner' of the Naval Aviator Forum.

BTW, the Background explanation of the vision ailment in your linky is a bunch of medical 'pentagon-speak' gobbledeegook. The question needs to be directed to a Navy Flight Surgeon.:)
