Height Requirements---- Help!

Thank you! Why are the height requirements so different? The AF says a female has to be a MINIMUM of 64".

The height is set by the need to simply see over the dashboard. Anthro's are as follows - Sitting Height - 32-41" Functional Reach - 28" min. Butt knee length - 21.9 - 28" Butt leg length - 36-50"

The AF may have given you the male standards.

That's what a friend of mine told me to do. He told me to just hang from bar and do something like sit ups.

Yea, Airforce told me I had to be 5'4 to fly. He said it could be waived to 5'2, but that didn't do me any good because I'm 5'0. You can be shorter than that if you don't want to fly, but to fly you have to be that tall. That eliminated airforce from my list pretty quickly....
